10/10 for the campsite..everyone said what a cracking site it was and the toilets especially.
10/10 for the price...no complaints...ex value for money
10/10 for entertainment
0/10 for the **** weather...solely blamed on God (if god was a woman it would have been very hot with the sun shining)
10/10 for entering and leaving...staff from Vanwest and the campsite were very friendly.
Overall we all enjoyed this weekend...cracking show and one that we will be attending next year.

7-8-9 MAY - rather chilly to say the least!
Awoken early, time to go, off to our favourite
V Dub show,
Explore the seaside in our bay, Vanwest is the place we’ll stay,
The campsite packed with pride and joy, spit and polish every toy,
All for looking, not for touchin, we even saw Ivan McCutcheon,
Trade arena, bands and snacks, competitions, parts and hats,
A great display, unique cuisine, an awesome sight, was to be seen. |

Fed and watered, singing loud, the band came out to please the crowd,
Headline band ‘Doreen, Doreen’ are also in the air-cooled scene,
Beers a flowing, Nepali food, set the chilled out party mood,
The night was long with lots to see, water walking impressed me,
Tired of dancing and feeling full, many failed the raging bull!!.
So off to bed and dreams of old, cuddle up, ignore the cold. |
Sunday sun popped in and out, a fab location there’s no doubt
Dubbers looked that final time, for elusive parts so hard to find,
The cardboard camper amused the kids, while parents checked VW Heritage
With excitement mounting, packing fast, the unique beach cruise was here at last,
Hundreds of buses lined the beach; the tide was in but couldn’t reach,
This top display of bugs and buses, locals joined and cheered the masses

A great weekend was had by us, fantastic place to take our bus,
Families, young and old alike, build sandcastles, ride your bike,
With lots to do throughout our stay, roll on next year's Vanwest Holiday!!.
